Formerly discussed and long-awaited, photos from the previous Disney trip to Animal Kingdom can be found below. Also included are visual representations of Sunday's visit to EPCOT. Sandwiched in between one may gawk at Noelle and Lucas splashing in local Lake Warren. Chilly though the water was, neither child voiced a complaint and both emerged whistle-clean.
Expanding on EPCOT: we aimed to 'hit' the park at its 9AM opening and missed our target by 45 minutes. (You try having twins and being on time everywhere you go). By then, the parking lot was chock full of cars, each seemingly spewing at least four occupants plus two strollers. We joined the fray roughly 20 minutes after parking (being consumed by unstrapping, sunscreening, diaper replacing, and Bjorn-adjusting). We then slid into a parking tram row for a 28 second ride to the front entrance. Shameful.
Though Kel was promised a FastPass admittance onto 'Soarin', our shortage of time did not allow it. Instead, we took a boat ride on Living with the Land, one of my favorites, and then trekked around the World Showcase. Much of our surroundings caught the kids' eyes. However, after three hours of diversion-overload on a warm day, probably nothing was as satisfying to them as the snug of their seat and the steady hum of the 20 minute ride home.
